Welcome to our Makerspace

FORGE 2We’ve been waiting patiently for our new Makerspace, The Forge, to open. But, like everything else in 2020, the opening of our fantastic new space has been delayed due to COVID-19. And, while we’re getting closer, we’re not quite there yet!

In addition to all of this fun equipment, as you can see from the photos, we’ve got a really awesome space to work in! We are so excited to introduce you to The Forge and look forward to opening our doors to makers of all ages. Sit tight … we’re almost there!

It's not too late to donate to our Makerspace project and programs
For its fundraising effort, the project’s diverse elements are being bundled as “Forge Ahead: Library Makeover” – where the term ‘forge’ is both a tribute to the original use of the Municipal Center building as a metalworking factory, and a recognition of the library’s renovation through CTCC’s efforts.
